Law360, New York (January 18, 2011, 8:30 PM ET) -- Foot Locker Retail Inc. on Tuesday lost an appeals court bid to disqualify Qualls & Workman LLP from representing workers opposed to a $2 million class settlement, following the firm's filing of a separate suit on behalf of some of the same class members.
The California Appeals Court's First Appellate District affirmed a decision denying Foot Locker's bid to disqualify attorneys from Qualls & Workman, finding that their involvement in both cases did not present a conflict of interest.
