Fed. Circ. Upholds Navy Win Over Puerto Rican Land

Law360, New York (April 08, 2011, 7:31 PM ET) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday affirmed the dismissal of a suit in which Creation Upgrades Inc. protested the rejection of its bid for a parcel of U.S. Navy land in Ceiba, Puerto Rico.

When it put the parcel up for sale, the Navy selected a reserve price of $36.7 million, and said it would not accept a conforming high bid that was less than 80 percent of that amount, according to a three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
