Law360, New York (July 06, 2011, 6:04 PM ET) -- Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP said Tuesday that it had bolstered its ranks in Washington by bringing back a veteran patent and appellate lawyer from now-defunct Howrey LLP.
William K. West Jr. joined Pillsbury's intellectual property practice as senior counsel. Previously, West had been in the Washington office of Howrey, which he joined in 1999.
West started his career at Cushman Darby & Cushman and stayed on after that firm was acquired by Pillsbury in 1996, and later made the jump to Howrey.
