Ill. High Court Nixes $43M Verdict Over Ford Explosion

Law360, Chicago (September 22, 2011, 4:28 PM ET) -- The Illinois Supreme Court on Thursday tossed a $43 million verdict against Ford Motor Co., holding that a jury improperly found that Ford had negligently designed its 1993 Lincoln Town Car, causing an explosion that killed one and severely injured another.
