Pryor Cashman Can't Dismiss $42M Fraud Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (March 15, 2012, 2:10 PM ET) -- A New York state appeals court on Thursday again refused Pryor Cashman LLP's bid to dismiss a malpractice suit accusing the firm of failing to alert its union client to a $42 million raid on its benefit funds.

The New York Supreme Court upheld its previous ruling denying Pryor Cashman's motion to dismiss allegations leveled by the trustees of Construction Workers Local 147 that the firm failed to stop a years-long looting of the till, dismissing the firm's argument that the allegations aren't specific enough....
