2nd Circ. Denies Bail For Former Morgan Stanley Exec

Law360, New York (May 08, 2012, 7:21 PM ET) -- A former Morgan & Stanley Co. executive will not be freed on bail while he appeals a conviction for steering stock loan business to small companies in exchange for kickbacks, the Second Circuit ruled Tuesday.

A three-judge panel denied a motion from Darin DeMizio — a former executive director and Morgan Stanley and head of its domestic stock loan desk — for bail while he appeals his honest services fraud conviction.
