Fla. Ruling May Be Death Knell For Bad Faith Claims

Law360, New York (June 01, 2012, 8:40 PM ET) -- Insureds angling to bring bad faith claims in Florida face a tougher road after the state's high court ruled Thursday in a condominium association's dispute with QBE Insurance Corp. that policyholders cannot pursue common law claims against insurers for violating an implied warranty of good faith and fair dealing.
