Before Settling, Guidant Plaintiffs Consider Appeal

Law360, New York (September 13, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Two plaintiffs want a judge to finalize his order dismissing several of their claims against Guidant Corp. over allegedly faulty implantable heart defibrillators, so that they may pursue an appeal before deciding to join a proposed $195 million settlement of the consolidated class action.
