DC Circ. Strikes NRC 60-Year Nuclear Waste Storage Rule

Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 4:35 PM ET) -- The D.C. Circuit on Friday vacated a U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission ruling that allows nuclear power facilities to store radioactive waste for up to 60 years after they close, saying the commission did not properly assess the potential environmental impacts.
