Indonesia High Court Nixes Churchill’s $2B Coal License Row

Law360, New York (June 14, 2012, 2:20 PM ET) -- The Indonesian Supreme Court has officially rejected U.K. coal mining company Churchill Mining PLC's appeal of a decision to revoke four mining licenses worth nearly $2 billion in the country, Churchill Mining said Thursday.

Churchill Mining said that the Indonesia high court sent a notice to the firm confirming that its appeal had been rejected. The company had said in April that notations on the court's register indicated that the appeal would be denied.
