Law360, Washington (July 13, 2012, 3:21 PM ET) -- Apple Inc. told a Federal Circuit panel on Friday that it should overturn a U.S. International Trade Commission decision after it used unnecessarily narrow claim constructions to side with Eastman Kodak Co. in a digital video camera patent battle.
While Apple argued that the ITC unnecessarily differentiated between raw and unprocessed digital image data, causing the downfall of its infringement argument, members of the Federal Circuit panel noted the technology giant faced an uphill battle in overturning the ruling.
