Legal Advice Is Property In Extortion Case, 2nd Circ. Rules

Law360, New York (July 02, 2012, 10:32 PM ET) -- The Second Circuit last week said a lawyer’s advice can be considered property in the context of extortion, backing the conviction of a technology investment firm executive who threatened to reveal a former New York employee’s extramarital affair if he didn’t recommend the firm for an investment.
