Law360, New York (July 05, 2012, 6:50 PM ET) -- The Second Circuit dismissed a former account executive’s gender and racial discrimination claims against TWC Media Solutions Inc. on Thursday, finding that she failed to demonstrate that the Weather Channel had fired her for any reason other than poor job performance.
The court upheld a New York federal judge’s decision to grant the Weather Channel summary judgment, finding that former employee Claudia Woodard’s claims that she was retaliated against after reporting a hostile work environment did not stand up to scrutiny.
