FirstEnergy Takes Transmission Cost Battle To Supreme Court

Law360, New York (July 13, 2012, 7:01 PM ET) -- A pair of FirstEnergy Corp. subsidiaries battling the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission over the power to pass on $230 million in lost transmission costs to ratepayers are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to hear the case, arguing that the PPUC illegally ignored federal regulatory standards.
