Disney, Pixar Motor Out Of 'Cars' Copyright Suit In 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (July 20, 2012, 6:57 PM ET) -- The Ninth Circuit on Friday upheld a win for The Walt Disney Co. and Pixar Animation Studios in a copyright and contract suit brought by a writer who alleges his ideas were stolen for the movie “Cars,” finding no substantial similarities between the works.
