Law360, New York (August 17, 2012, 10:07 PM ET) -- Essar Steel Ltd. on Thursday appealed to the Federal Circuit a U.S. Court of International Trade opinion upholding a dumping margin for certain steel products the company claims is unfair.
Indian steel producer Essar lodged its appeal after the CIT affirmed a finding by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration that set the dumping rate for the company on certain hot-rolled carbon steel flat products at 9.01 percent, according court documents.
