High Court Grants Cert To Whistleblower Suit

Law360, New York (October 29, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- With a circuit split now leaving judges unsure of False Claims Act requirements, the U.S. Supreme Court said Monday that it will take a stab at two former employees' whistleblower suit that says three Navy subcontractors outfitted warships with faulty generators and overbilled for them.

Hearing the case will give the High Court a chance to resolve a circuit court split — between the Sixth Circuit, from which the whistleblower suit was appealed, and the D.C. Circuit — on the legal requirements of the False Claims...
