Law360, New York (January 22, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court asked the U.S. solicitor general on Tuesday to weigh in on whether AT&T Inc. used its alleged monopoly on telephone lines to subject Internet service providers, including linkLine, to a price-squeeze in violation of antitrust laws.
The high court will consider whether to take up AT&T's petition, which has gained the support of academics, after Solicitor General Paul D. Clement files a brief regarding the government's views on the price-squeeze theory.
