Law360, New York (June 21, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of employees in a majority of employment cases it heard in its latest term, leading many experts to predict that companies are in for a tough time in future employment cases before the high court.
In the October 2007 term, the Supreme Court took on more employment-related cases than it had in several years, with a majority of the rulings going against employers. The term officially ended Friday, when the court issued its final orders.
