Hospital In W.R. Grace Case Appeals Class Bid Ruling

Law360, New York (June 23, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Shot down by the bankruptcy court last month, a hospital involved in the W.R. Grace & Co. Chapter 11 case has decided to take its bid for class certification for asbestos property damage claimants to a higher authority in hopes of receiving a different result.

On Thursday, Anderson Memorial Hospital decided to plead its case before the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, arguing that the bankruptcy court erred in dismissing its asbestos claims and that it had met the criteria necessary for appeal....
