Law360, New York (June 25, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A Russian appeals court has breathed new life into PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia's challenge to a March 2007 decision in which the firm was fined for allegedly concealing tax evasion by erstwhile energy giant OAO Yukos.
In January, Russia's Ninth Arbitration Appellate Court dealt a blow to PwC when it upheld the 2007 decision. But on Monday, the Federal Arbitration Court for the Moscow District handed down a ruling allowing PWC to appeal.
