ABA Rallies Against Judge In Mining Co.'s Appeal

Law360, New York (August 05, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The American Bar Association and other public interest groups are urging the U.S. Supreme Court to hear a mining company's appeal, alleging that the judge who cast the decisive vote in its lawsuit should have recused himself because he received $3 million in campaign contributions from the CEO of A.T. Massey Coal Co. Inc., the opposing party.
