Hospital's Appeal Bid Fails In W.R. Grace Case

Law360, New York (September 08, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Anderson Memorial Hospital has come up short in its bid to overturn the judge's ruling in the W.R. Grace bankruptcy case, failing to persuade the court that it should be allowed to appeal the denial of class certification against the chemical maker.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Ronald Buckwalter rejected Anderson Memorial's interlocutory attempt to appeal the denial of class certification for a group of South Carolina building owners whose structures are allegedly infected with asbestos.
