New Claims In Leegin Rejected Under Rule Of Reason

Law360, New York (April 08, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The plaintiff in a case that prompted the U.S. Supreme Court to change a near century-old per se rule against vertical minimum price-fixing lost round two after a federal judge granted a motion to dismiss.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Monday sided with defendant Leegin Creative Leather Products Inc., which argued that the plaintiff's new price-fixing allegations failed under the rule of reason.
