9th Circ. Upholds $49M Deal In Bar Prep Suit

Law360, New York (April 24, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- An appeals court has upheld a $49 million settlement in an antitrust class action against West Publishing Corp. and Kaplan Inc. over test preparation courses for law school admissions and the bar exam, though the court has reversed and remanded an order approving attorneys' fees for the plaintiffs' counsel.
