CORRECTED: Jury Finds Ford Not Liable For Deadly Crash

Law360, New York (May 06, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal jury has found that Ford Motor Co. is not liable for a 2001 car crash that killed three members of the same family, rejecting the plaintiffs' claims that the crash was caused by an unspecified defect in the Ford Taurus involved in the crash.

The jury in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York returned its unanimous verdict on Monday, and Judge Gerard E. Lynch issued an order dismissing the case the following day.
