Orion, Wockhardt Strike Deal Over Parkinson's Drugs

Law360, New York (May 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pharmaceutical company Orion Corp. and Wockhardt Ltd. have buried the hatchet in patent infringement litigation brought by Orion over Parkinson's disease treatments Stalevo and Comtan.

The parties consented to an entry of judgment Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware after reaching a confidential deal in the intellectual property dispute.

Though the details of the settlement are mostly under wraps, Orion did reveal that Wockhardt will be able to launch generic versions of Comtan and Stalevo on Sept. 30, 2012, or possibly...
