Federal Circuit Tosses Judge’s Lawsuit Over Lost Job

Law360, New York (September 13, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- When David A. Scholl, a former federal bankruptcy judge, lost his job after a 14-year appointment, he fought back, suing for back pay and reinstatement.

Scholl filed a suit alleging that the denial of his reappointment at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania was in violation of his right to due process.
