Day Pitney Cuts 20 Attys Due To Drop In Demand

Law360, New York (May 13, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Unable to put off attorney layoffs any longer, Day Pitney LLP has handed pink slips to 20 associates and counsel, citing a drop in legal demand as a reason for the move.

Legal blog Above the Law broke the layoff news Tuesday, publishing a reported internal memo about the eliminations that was circulated firmwide.
