Home Depot Kickback Probe Nets 4th Guilty Plea

Law360, New York (May 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The ex-wife of a former employee of The Home Depot Inc. has pled guilty to a charge of filing a false tax return in connection with a plot to accept kickbacks from foreign companies looking to become suppliers to the home improvement giant.

Mobile, Ala., resident Melissa Deaton Tesvich, 41, pled guilty Thursday to the one-count information before Judge Richard W. Story of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
