Allen, American Apparel Settle Billboard Suit For $5M

Law360, New York (May 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The showdown expected Monday between film director Woody Allen and American Apparel Inc. over the retailer's use of Allen's image in an ad campaign did not materialize as the two sides have agreed to a $5 million settlement.
