Addleshaw Goddard Poised To Cut 85 Staff

Law360, New York (May 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Following in the footsteps of numerous other firms, Addleshaw Goddard LLP has reportedly decided to initiate a so-called redundancy consultation program that could lead to layoffs of 85 staff, though none of the firm's fee-earner positions are expected to be affected.

On Monday, the UK-based firm revealed the consultation, which began last week in earnest and is expected to affect business services and secretarial staff in all practice areas at the London, Manchester and Leeds offices, according to Legal Week.
