Suit Over Dominion Nuclear Permit Process Revived

Law360, New York (May 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Connecticut Supreme Court has given an anti-nuclear activist another shot at challenging the state administrative proceeding governing Dominion Nuclear Connecticut Inc.'s permit to discharge wastewater from the Millstone Nuclear Power Station into Long Island Sound.

The Supreme Court issued an opinion on Wednesday reversing a trial court's judgment that plaintiff Nancy Burton lacked standing to assert that existing permit renewal process proceeding isn't adequate to protect the rights recognized by the Connecticut Environmental Protection Act.
