Law360, New York (May 20, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- D.J. (Jan) Baker, a partner in the restructuring group at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP, has left the firm to become head of the restructuring practice at Latham & Watkins LLP.
Baker's departure makes him the third partner to leave Skadden in a week. On Friday, Kirkland & Ellis LLP announced that partners David Fox and Daniel Wolf had joined the firm from Skadden's mergers and acquisitions practice.
A representative of Latham confirmed Baker's hiring, but said the firm would have no further comment....
