Judge Agrees To Drop 10 Claims In BP Plant Sale Spat

Law360, New York (May 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has agreed to strip 10 claims from a breach of contract suit over BP Amoco Chemical Co.’s sale of a $300 million chemical plant that failed to meet environmental compliance standards, but has also allowed the buyer to seek recovery from BP for the cost of regulatory actions against the plant.
