Resort, Insurers Lose Judgment Bids In $33M Spat

Law360, New York (May 27, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has denied summary judgment to all parties in a suit brought by the owner of a Florida resort against Hartford Fire Insurance Co. and Westchester Surplus Lines Insurance Co. over $33 million in damages the owner claims it incurred as a result of three consecutive hurricanes.
