Law360, New York (February 28, 2004, 12:00 AM ET) -- In a closely watched case, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has ruled that Indian generic drug manufacturer Dr Reddy's Laboratories infringed on Pfizer Pharmaceutical company's patent for the top-selling hypertension drug Norvasc.
The decision reverses an earlier ruling by a lower court in Newark, New Jersey.
