EU Seeks Court OK For New Patent Court Regime

Law360, New York (May 28, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- European Union member states on Thursday reportedly asked the bloc's top court to determine whether a new system of courts specifically for patent cases conforms with EU regulations.

Vladimir Tosovsky, industry minister for the Czech EU presidency, said that getting European Court of Justice approval for the new patent court regime was crucial, according to Reuters.
