FTC, Wholesalers Amend AndroGel Complaints

Law360, New York (May 29, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The Federal Trade Commission and three drug wholesalers representing buyers of the testosterone supplement AndroGel have filed second amended complaints in their suits against several drugmakers claiming patent settlements over the drug thwarted competition and denied the buyers cheaper generics.

The FTC, Meijer Inc., Rochester Drug Cooperative Inc. and the Louisiana Wholesale Drug Co. Inc. each filed their amended complaints Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia in order to meet a deadline imposed by Judge Thomas W. Thrash Jr. when...
