Corporate America More Gay Friendly: Study

Law360, New York (September 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Corporate America has become more friendly to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees, though there are still some holdouts that don’t offer any benefits to their GLBT workers, according to a report released Tuesday by a gay rights advocacy group.

In this year’s survey, 138 of 446 major U.S. companies received a perfect rating of 100%, up from 13 companies when the Human Rights Campaign’s first survey came out in 2002.
