Former DOI Solicitor Rejoins Brownstein Hyatt

Law360, New York (June 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After nearly eight years working in the Bush administration's U.S. Department of the Interior, most recently as solicitor, David Longly Bernhardt is returning to Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP.

The firm announced Tuesday that Bernhardt would join its Washington office as a shareholder in its natural resources, government relations and litigation practices. Bernhardt was an associate at Brownstein Hyatt from 1998 to 2001, when he was tapped to be director of the Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs at the DOI.
