Skybus, Ex-Workers Move To Settle WARN Action

Law360, New York (June 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The lawyers for Skybus Airlines Inc. and a class of its former employees have asked a bankruptcy judge to approve a deal ending an action alleging the defunct budget airline didn't give workers legally required notice in advance of mass layoffs.

In the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on May 27, Skybus and the class of workers jointly asked Judge Christopher S. Sontchi for preliminary approval of a $925,000 settlement of the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act case.
