Graham Copyright Claims Not Time-Barred: 3rd. Circ.

Law360, New York (June 05, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal appeals court has ruled that The Graham Co.'s copyright infringement claims against rival insurance broker USI MidAtlantic Inc. are not time-barred, opening up the possibility that a jury's original $18.9 million verdict against USI and one of its employees will be reinstated.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit on Friday found that the lower court should not have granted summary judgment to USI on the question of whether a three-year statute of limitations applied to the case and reversed the ruling....
