Ex-Tyco CEO Perseveres In Conviction Fight

Law360, New York (June 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear former Tyco International Ltd. CEO Dennis Kozlowski's challenge to convictions for allegedly looting the company, though Kozlowski plans to continue fighting by filing a petition for writ of habeas corpus, according to his lawyer.

The high court denied a petition for a writ of certiorari lodged in March by Kozlwoski and former Tyco Chief Financial Officer Mark Swartz — both of whom are currently incarcerated.
