Google Told To Hand Over Docs In Toolbar IP Spat

Law360, New York (June 11, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The judge overseeing a patent infringement suit against Google Inc. over its Toolbar application has ordered the Internet giant to turn over documents regarding the software's operation with Mozilla Firefox.

Magistrate Judge John D. Love of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Wednesday granted plaintiff Aloft Media LLC's motion to compel production of documents from Google.

The Internet company must hand over the documents by June 22, according to the order.
