Sensient Flavors Trademark Dispute Tossed

Law360, New York (June 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- SensoryEffects Flavor Systems Co. has won its bid to toss a lawsuit accusing the company of infringing a trademark held by rival Sensient Technologies Corp.

Judge E. Richard Webber of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri dismissed the suit with prejudice Friday, finding that one of the names at issue had not been used in commerce and the other was unlikely to cause confusion.
