Kyocera Hit With Patent Suit Over Mobile Routers
Reston, Va.-based WIAV filed suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, claiming Kyocera's KR1 and KR2 mobile routers infringe U.S. Patent Numbers 5,400,338 and 6,480,497.
The routers allow Internet users to connect to a wireless broadband network virtually anywhere, functioning like an access point and supporting multiple computers and devices with high-speed wireless data services.
