House Dems Reveal Draft Of Health Care Reform Plan

Law360, New York (June 19, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- U.S. House of Representatives Democrats unveiled on Friday a draft of a health care reform plan they say will reduce rising costs, improve consumer choice and expand access to affordable care.

The draft legislation, which weighs in at more than 800 pages, was unveiled by Reps. George Miller, D-Calif., Charles B. Rangel, D-N.Y., and Henry Waxman, D-Calif., the chairmen of the three committees with jurisdiction over health policy in the House.
