Insured Seeks Class Cert. In Group Health Plan Suit

Law360, New York (June 22, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A member of the Consumers Health Awareness Association has moved to certify a class of thousands who purchased health insurance memberships in the organization, claiming the group health plan was a fraudulent scheme to market insurance products, evade regulations and line the pockets of CHAA's directors.
