States Urge Quick Action On GHG Regulations

Law360, New York (June 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Massachusetts attorney general has urged the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to push forward quickly with its proposed finding that greenhouse gas emissions threaten public health, recommending that the agency set a firm goal to have it finalized by 2010.

In comments submitted to the agency Tuesday, Massachusetts, joined by 13 other states and the city of New York, applauded the agency's proposal, but said more action should be taken in the next few months.
